Harkanwal Singh

data journalism and visualisation

Harkanwal was formerly Data Editor at the New Zealand Herald, and was New Zealand’s first full-time data journalist. Currently Harkanwal is studying probability and computation at the University of Auckland. His work combines analysis and programming to create interactive visualisations. He is interested in using data analysis and visualisation to provide accessible stories to readers on complex topics.

We have it on good authority that Harkanwal has an interest in culture and heritage data and we're so looking forward to hearing from him at NDF2017.

Harkanwal's appearance as an NDF2017 keynote is sponsored by the NDF Board.
